SUMMARY:Law & Order Night
DESCRIPTION:Law & Order Night: An annual dinner & awards event that recognizes our county’s public safety organizations and their members who are dedicated to excellence in providing service for public safety.  The organizations include the Sonora Police Department\, Sonora Fire Department\, Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Department\, Tuolumne County Fire Department\, Tuolumne County Probation Department\, Sierra Conservation Center\, California Superior Court of Tuolumne County\, Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office\, Stanislaus National Forest Law Enforcement and Fire Protection\, and California Highway Patrol. \nOn March 20th of this year\, members of Post 58 served the attending organizations’ leaders and their employee of the year and guests to a tri-tip dinner.  Commendation plaques and American Legion award ribbons were presented.  The evening was well attended and provided an opportunity for the organizations’ leaders\, including our county’s presiding judge\, to share attributes of each selected employee.  Attributes exemplified dedication by our public safety personnel\, their commitment to excellence in providing for our community’s safety.  As with past events\, the evening was laced with laughter\, camaraderie and good food.
